A collective of successful Sydney artists are opening a new gallery in the heart of Palm Beach showcasing a broad range of styles and creative forms. Art Gallery on Palm Beach officially opens on 23 November 2019.

The gallery follows the success of Art Gallery on Darling, located in Balmain, the sister gallery to Art Gallery on Palm Beach.

The new gallery will feature various styles of art including ceramics, bronze sculptures, fibre art, oil paintings by prize winning artists as well as watercolour and mixed media.

Art Gallery on Palm Beach director Vanessa Ashcroft said “Palm Beach is very seasonal with a mix of visitors, locals and weekend residents, so we are hoping that with the variety of talented professional artists that we have something for everyone.”

Ms Ashcroft saw a gap in the market within the Palm Beach Peninsula and wanted to create a space to act as a vehicle for artists to showcase their creative work.

“We hope that the gallery will become a destination with customers wanting to mix culture with the beach, fabulous restaurants or a quick walk up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse,” said Ms Ashcroft.

There will be an opportunity to talk to the artists, commission large works for residential use or guidance offered towards how to style a home with an array of stunning art works.

As the work is being managed and created by all artists involved, there is little commission on sales which enables the distribution of affordable, original and spectacular art.
