The Bank Hotel together with Brooklyn Brewery and The Bushwick Collective invited internationally acclaimed Brooklyn-based street artist, Nelson Revis aka El Cekis to bring his creative genius to life with two massive, live murals in The Bank’s courtyard.

El Cekis is nothing short of noteworthy, having begun painting the streets of Santiago at the young age of 16. Being a pioneer of Chile’s street-art scene, El Cekis' work has been exhibited worldwide, and across New York at the likes of Afropunk Festival Brooklyn, New York's Ace Hotel and the Bronx Museum. El Cekis’s murals are vibrant with a strong populist flavour and contemporary twist.

In partnership with Brooklyn Brewery, The Bank Hotel invites the public to head down to their courtyard on Thursday May 31st to watch the iconic El Cekis live as he transforms the courtyard with two new murals. There will be $5 schooners from Brooklyn Brewery and specials from The Bank Hotel's bistro all day until 7pm, so don't miss out.
