Christmas entertainment doesn't have to be just about the booze though we suggest these movie offerings can certainly have a bevvie or two sitting alongside them. 

 

Newport Surf-in Cinema – in collaboration with Surfing World, The Newport will be screening movies outdoors on Wednesday nights in December and January. Films have been chosen for their ability to capture the surf vibe. Films include: “Nevertown”, Breath, Life of Laird Hamilton plus more.

Where: The Newport, 2 Kalinya Street, Newport

When: 5, 12, 19 December 2018 and 9, 16, 23, 30 January 2019 with screenings to commence at 8pm.

Moonlight Cinema – outdoor movies at various price points. Food and beverages including alcohol available to purchase from the onsite caterers by debit/credit card only. BYO food and alcohol is allowed. Limited bean bags for hire.

Where: Belvedere Amphitheatre, Centennial Park, corner of Carrington and Broome Avenues, Paddington enter via Woollahra Gates on Oxford Street.

When: Until 31 March 2019 with gates opening at 7pm December to February / 6.30pm in March and screenings to commence at sundown.

Gold Grass – $35 - movie ticket, bean bed in premium location, plus wait service prior to start of film (does not include food – must pay for separately by debit or credit card)

Connoisseur Lounge –$30 - movie ticket and bean bed in prime location

The Mov’in Bed Open Air Bed Cinema – Biggest Outdoor Bed Cinema in the World with licensed bar and catering available. Hot food purchased outside of the cinema areas will not be allowed in. 2 hours free parking.

When: Until Sunday 23 December 2018 (no Mondays or Tuesdays) with gates opening 7pm and movies commencing at 8.30pm

Central Park Christmas Movie Screenings put on by Palace Cinemas and Central Park Mall to bring Sydney that Christmas cheer. Ticket price includes a free Young Henry’s Newtowner or Cider on arrival in the Beer Hall transformed according to a Christmas theme.
