FREE ONE DAY FESTIVAL Jameson House of Rounds is celebrating whiskey, live music and community spirit at Vic on the Park Marrickville this month on Saturday 19 October.

As we celebrate a rich return of live music to our city, Vic on the Park with a deep history of live music is an ideal festival venue. Experience live sets from Carmouflage Rose, Ziggy Ramo, Body Type, Godtet, and DJ sets from The Delta Riggs, Beryl Streep as local creatives comes alive to the taste and sound of whiskey between mates.

Full music lineup revealed yesterday is Brisbane MC, Carmouflage Rose whose Zimbabwean roots to his experience growing up in Australia can be heard across his astute and dance floor-ready rhymes. Ziggy Ramo also steps to the plate, proving why he’s in a league of his own with politically-charged flows and infectious production. Body Type (pictured) will be igniting the Jameson House of Rounds floor with their DIY indie-rock sound backed by international acclaim, while bright Wollongong wunderkind Stevan arrives to fold in his own smooth vocals, lush production and genre-breaking selections. Godtet, the live band project of Sydney multi-instrumentalist Godriguez, will be behind the jazz-inspired grooves, delivering on his eclectic mix of guitar and soaring synths, as well as local super group Joseph Liddy & The Skeleton Horse, taking you to a cosmic world with their precise fusion of soul, funk and disco.

Capping off the packed line-up are body-moving DJ sets from Beryl Streep (Scarlett from San Cisco), local punk outfit These New South Whales, and returning rockers The Delta Riggs who will keep you reaching for the Jameson as the night goes on.

Joining the whiskey and live music offering is record shop owner and DJ, Gonz of Papa Disquo Records who hosts a vinyl record fair for collectors and fans alike. A Ssweatshop stall will be printing on-demand custom merch designed by the music world’s beloved Sydney-based illustrator Sindy Sinn, while an open-to-all basketball comp goes down in the Vic on the Park carpark. Vic on the Park will be manning the outdoor food stalls, with all favourite pub-grub classics, as well as an all-day BBQ serving a selection of Jameson-infused sauces. A blind-folded sensory tasting experience will take place in a secret location, where punters will be asked to put their whiskey knowledge to the test.

Jameson House of Rounds is a community event that will provide a $1 throwback on every Jameson drink sold as well as proceeds from merch towards nominated charity, Addison Road Community Centre Organisation. Addi Road is an independent not-for-profit supporting social justice, arts and culture through managing a nine-acre heritage site for community use in the Inner West since 1976.
