Bold, bright and bigger than ever - Sydney Festival returns in 2015 between the 8th and 26th of January and it’s set to impress with their lineup.

By January the city will be transformed from it’s usual self to incorporate a range of international and national performers in venues from the CBD and out as far as Parramatta. Their full list of confirmed acts includes 18 world premieres, 11 Australian premieres and 22 Australian exclusives.

The 2015 Festival looks to be one of the biggest ever. Living up to its tag line ‘This is Our City in Summer’, Sydney Festival gives audiences the perfect excuse to celebrate the city in summer,” says Sydney Festival Director Lieven Bertels.

The best news is, out of almost 200 events, 85 of them are completely free. Genres span from classical music and theatre, to dance, visual arts and more.

Highlights include Limbo - a dangerously sexy circus cabaret; A Simple Place - a seven person acrobatic show; and The Kitchen - an audio cooking performance unlike any other.
