If laughter is the best medicine, Celebrity Theatresports is just what the doctor ordered!

A cast of some of Australia’s best-known celebrities and top comedy improvisers take to the Enmore Theatre stage on Sunday August 5th, without scripts and only audience suggestions to inspire them, all to raise money for CanTeen. It’s bound to be the wildest, funniest fundraiser of the year!

Your favourite stars face insane comedy challenges and have to improvise their way to glory. From Andrew O’Keefe (The Chase Australia, Weekend Sunrise) & Adam Spencer (The Big Questions, Sleek Geeks) singing an impromptu opera to the mimed madness of the Umbilical Brothers and Book of Mormon's Rowan Witt, anything can happen and probably will – and all for a great cause.

Directed by Theatresports legend David Callan, the show also stars Olympic gold medallist Matthew Mitcham, Playschool’s Jay Laga’aia, the X-Files’ Dean Haglund, The Checkout’s Zoe Norton Lodge, Axis of Awesome singer & comedian Jordan Raskopoulos, Home & Away star Holly Brisley, stand-up comedy legends Cam Knight and Rebecca DeUnamuno - and the stars of Theatresports.

When cancer crashes into a young person’s world, CanTeen’s mission is to be in their corner with whatever support they need including counselling, information and the chance to connect with others their age who are in the same boat. Celebrity Theatresports is a great way to support their amazing work and experience the biggest, brightest and best comedy in town.

If you’ve never seen Theatresports before then you really don't know what it's like to be scared scriptless! It’s on-the-spot, seat-of-the-pants comedy, performed at the highest level of skill with miraculous comedy timing. In a series of hilarious games, challenges and comedy skits – from songs and poems to scenes in all kinds of styles - teams compete for audience laughs and the judges’ scores. It's terrifying, it’s brilliant and it always plays to a sell-out crowd!
