The Wild Party

Earlier this year we announced the Little Triangle production of Merrily We Roll Along as one of the best shows we've seen, and the must see show of the year.

Now they're back, with the Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe's provocative musical, The Wild Party, for a strictly limited 2-week season at the Seymour Centre.

Director Alexander Andrews, Music Director Conrad Hamill and Producer Rose McClelland have assembled 20 of Sydney’s finest emerging and established musical theatre talent with qualifications from WAAPA, VCA, NIDA, AIM, Queensland Conservatorium, Federation University & Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

"Unsnap those garters and those starch lapels. It's time to get wicked and wild."

Based on the 1928 book-length narrative poem, written by Joseph Moncure March, The Wild Party tells the story of the scintillating Queenie and her hot tempered lover Burrs. In a heated moment of violence and vulnerability, Burrs suggests the two throw a party to end all parties.

Whatever you do, don't leave Sydney this November. And if you can't wait until then, Little Triangle have got A Little Cabaret coming up this September.
