Miss Behave Game Show

Are you ready for a night of hilarious laughs Sydney? Then step right up as the hilarious Mistress of Mayhem; Miss Behave and not her not so trusty sidekick Tiffany lead you down an unconventional path of competition and having a hell of a lot of fun along the way.

The idea behind the game show itself is simple, by pitting two teams against each other. The teams must battle it out with the team with the most points crowned winner. Sounds straightforward right, well that’s where you would wrong. What follows is a mad capped array of quiz show, aerial acts, sword swallowing tricks cabaret and just full-blown chaos. I loved every second of it.

From the moment we arrived in The Studio we were split up into two teams, team “IPHONE” on the right and “THE OTHERS” on the left. Miss Behave nonchalantly sat on stage as she flicked through a gossip mag while in a monotone PSA went through the rules of business.

First rule there are no rules
Secondly you were encouraged to think for yourself
Thirdly bribes were accepted
Four both cheating and lying were highly encouraged.

To warm up the crowd Miss Behave thought she would offer candy to the audience; it's not often that I take candy from strangers but I had a feeling by this point that what ever she was asking me to do I was going to do it. As she pegged lollies into the audience she made no apologies for those she hit in the head in the process, Miss Behave is not one to apologize for anything. Next she went through the “box” of prizes, showing what you couldn’t win but being able to obtain the knowledge that these things existed. Once the house keeping was taken care of it was time to start the game. The Challenges start of simple like “dial my number the fastest” or “Scream the Loudest”, but as time goes on they get stranger like naming “porn you admit to watching” to the embarrassing like the “laid Lottery” where every contestant stands until Miss Behave announces the time in which they last got laid, the winner in this case being the one “not getting lucky”.

Our Game show host Miss Behave aka Amy Saunders is not only world renown but also a world record holder for sword swallowing, but here she dons the caps of producer, performer, curator and comedian. This woman is a genius as she out wits and out smarts the audience, she commands the stage and holds you captive the entire time. Not alone in all this chaos herself, Tiffany her girl Friday assists like no other. Her Facial expressions will have you in stiches. Brett Pfister brings a great balance of camp humor and don’t fuck with me attitude to this role. Marvel as he shimmies, twerks and flirts with audience, side note his interpretive dance piece dedicated to “Procrastination” and partnered with the soundtrack of Wilson Philips “Hold on” is hands down one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life. Just when you thought you had seen everything though, Evil the hate Monkey (Adam Krandle) is introduced, there’s nothing like a 5’7 hairy man dressed as a monkey performing ballet moves why screaming at a banana to take it up just another notch and believe me bananas will never be the same ever again.

I can honestly say I have never had so much fun at a performance in my life, I walked out of there with my face hurting from smiling so hard, I left feeling elated and just pure joy. Miss Behave Game show is just pure fun, it pulls you out of your shell and makes you question your limits and just what you will do to get a point, but in the end….the points don’t matter. What does matter though is how we all get to be part of an experience with each other, I feel like as a society we all tend to stick to ourselves ever been on a bus and just stopped to look around at everyone one else, majority of us all have our noses stuck in our phones. Saunders very cleverly without us even knowing holds the mirror up to us and reflects on to us just how out of touch with each other we are, but forcing us to be as one. The great thing is because its so audience centered every time is going to be different, I can see why people have been numerous times to see it. Don’t be afraid though as interactive as it is, it allows you to give us much or as little us yourself as you want, but to get the best out of it I suggest you take some friends, be as loud as you can (Don’t ask don’t get), have fun and leave your inhabitations at the door. As Miss Behave says, “The only thing worth being for sale anymore is word of mouth” so here I am me telling you to go buy tickets, you wont regret it.

I give 5 out of five Bananas
