A great public school market with a focus on artisanal crafts and unique items for sale. If it’s locally made, hand crafted or gourmet, chances are pretty good that you’ll find it on one of the stalls being sold by the same hands that made it. Arcadia markets are well-known for chatty vendors eager to share the story behind their product, so don’t be afraid to ask. They’re held twice a year, parking is easy and there are even EFTPOS facilities if you happen to speed through your paper money.
