Just being at Chiosco makes you feel very lucky to be a Sydneysider. Why? Firstly, it boasts 200-300 degree views of Sydney’s Middle Harbour, with every table surrounded by million dollar (and more) boats. Secondly, the menu showcases Italian street-food at its best – Head Chef Alex Joslyn has worked with top chefs including Alessandro Pavoni and Giovanni Pilu, so you can be sure you’re in safe hands. Generous sharing plates include the daily fish crudo, zucchini flowers and Italian burrata. Follow these with house made pastas and a range of fish and meats cooked on the charcoal grill. Thirdly, it’s BYO beer and wine. So grab a bottle (or two) of Champagne, work up an appetite and enjoy an affordable feast of fresh, generous Italian food whilst watching a simmering Sydney sunset. ‘Molto bello’ indeed.
