Lot.1 Sydney is a three level establishment that fuses the affluence and luxury of decadent interiors with Chef Swanson’s modern take on Italian favourites and impeccably attentive service to bring a timeless style to Sydney’s CBD. Having birthed from a myriad of international influences it assures to be unlike anything to have previously hit our Sydney streets. The opening of Lot.1 Sydney’s doors promises to flood our social scene with a much needed breath of fresh air in the midst of our stifling lock-out laws. This 400 capacity venues ethos of comfort and pleasure will ensure that every nook and hidden room embodies a complete experience that focuses on contemporary dining, quality spirits, liquors and cocktails (as well as a fully stocked cigar bar).
The kitchen is being headed by famed chef Adam Swanson, who has created a menu of traditional Italian dishes using, local seasonal ingredients with a refined modern twist. Dishes will be served on share plates akin to tapas, all of which have been designed to mix and match to take you on a sensory journey guided by the knowledgeable staff.
Diners can expect fresh summertime dishes perfect for long leisurely meals such as Chef Swanson’s Kingfish Carpaccio with homemade Campari infused granita, dehydrated ruby grapefruit and crispy thin homemade Italian bread, as well as some heartier options such as Chef Swanson’s traditional Polpette a Pomodoro (the family recipe handed down from his Nonna); a fusion of pork, veal, beef, Nonna’s secret herb mix and rich 24 month aged raw milk regiano parmigiano. For those with a sweet tooth, look out for the Torta Caprese, a dense soft centred chocolate delight from the Amalfi coast with Salsa Mou (Italian salted caramel) & black cherry sorbet.
If you are after a quick bite, the Espresso Bar provides for a more casual setting that is perfect for time-poor customers that are after quality food quickly. Pop in for an organic chicken 3 bean salad or a freshly made Vedura Panini with smoked eggplant, eggplant chips, ricotta and fresh basil.
