Using the beans they import and roast on site, the team have also created a very special coffee menu with 10 different coffees from around the world. These coffees are served the 'traditional' way and it's a great way to explore the many different ways coffee can be served.
This Crows Nest neighbourhood gem is reinventing the North Shore coffee offering with their ‘Round the World’ menu. Alongside the café’s Modern Australian menu, at Monte Alto you can sip Hong Kong’s Yuan Yang, the American Red Eye, Spanish Café con Miel and German Eiskaffee.
Owner Harry Nguyen takes pride in being the only venue in Crows Nest roasting coffee on site and incorporates their house-roasted coffee into both their food and drinks menus.
“Our team has a great love of coffee and we are obsessed with finding new and interesting ways to incorporate it into our offering at Monte Alto. We have a 12-hour coffee rub pork at the moment which is amazing. In addition to the Round the World coffee menu we offer other speciality coffees such as Bulletproof Coffee for the gym junkies and an Espresso Spritzer which has been pretty popular with the recent heat in Sydney,” says Harry.
