It all started with crepes, and at first they sold more of them than booze reckons owner Karl Schlothauer. Now, Sydney’s grown up and his crafty cocktails top the orders in the first in the group of his bars – he also owns Stitch and Button in Sydney, Pocket also in Terrigal, and Lockwood in Paris. As Schlothauer is a whisky drinker it is no surprise there is a good range - bourbon rye Scotch Japanese - on the Pocket back bar.
