Spawn Point Small Bar

On the stairwell a small sign points downwards. Spawn Point Small Bar is a small Sydney video game bar in a Clarence Street basement. The mood suits. Yes, there's drinks - beer and wine and cocktails - it is a bar - and food, cheese plates and wraps - and the games are free. So please support the bar by buying the drinks as well as playing the games.

Owner Ben Shute showed us around the consoles available to play: ps2, ps3, game cube, Nintendo 64, super Nintendo, Nintendo entertainment system and a wii U. Many of the popular titles are available on these such as Guitar hero, street fighter series, tekken series, mario kart, golden eye 007, mario brothers 1-2-3, super smash brothers (8 player on wii U) and many more. Spawn also has a retro jamma arcade machine with over 100 games to choose from of the 90's era.

Spawn Point Bar will be soon hosting an oculus rift for people to try and they also want to put in a 3d printer on display. More events and competitions are also planned including gaming related trivia nights. And they are adding a pizza menu too.
