Ursula's Paddington

Oozing charm, Ursula's resides on the corner of a long time Sydney restaurant institution Darcy's, and opened late 2021 under the hands of acclaimed Chef Phil Wood, who has one of the highest pedigrees of Sydney dining including as executive Chef of Rockpool for eight years now in his first own restaurant.

Like the chef himself, Urusula's is seemingly understated, but look closer and the dishes are totally contemporary and unique. As always Phil Wood stamps with his own custom seal.

Entrees and mains marry traditional French classics, leaning to retro, uplifted with quality, twisted with less traditional international ingredients.

Ursula's opening menu holds our hearts (and tastebuds) with dishes such as Local lobster salad, mango, cashew and XO; Mussel schnitzel, iceberg, Marie Rose and green goddess; Snapper, roasted almonds, Keen’s Curry vinaigrette; Roast Bannockburn chicken, mushroom duxelles, gai lan and konbu butter sauce; and Pork chop, spring onion, nashi, shiso and gochujang.

Dessert lovers are well treated with classics such as Peach Melba; Golden syrup dumplings; and flummery reinvented into new heights of elegance and creativity.

And that wine list!
