This heavenly French patisserie is best known for its breads - Bennelong, boule, levain, walnut, petit pain, batard. Then there are the pastries - palmiers, croissants, brownies, strawberry mascarpone slice, tarte aux chocolate, meringue citron. But there is also the tightest quality selection of artisan accompaniments: Rieme French fizzy drinks, Joseph olive oil, Tetsuya smoked salmon, Meredith Dairy goats cheese, Woodside jersey brie, Lescure and Will Studd selected Le Conquerant butters, and Duchy Originals organic shortbread and oat biscuits.

Times have changed since Victoire offered the first taste to Sydney of excellence in patisserie. It was our first taste of beautiful bread nearly thirty years ago. The original Balmain store now graces Darling Street Rozelle and there is also a shop at Cammeray.
