Cumberland and Gloucester streets will come alive with great Australian craft beer festivities for the 12th annual Australian Beer Fest, Sydney’s ultimate celebration of beer and cider, from Friday 14th of October to Sunday 16th of October, showcasing more than 30 different Australian breweries, gourmet food stalls, meet the brewer sessions, blind tastings and live entertainment.
The ticket price includes a tasting cup and 10 tasting tokens. Attendees will be able to roam 30 stalls showcasing more than 30 different Australian producers. This year's festival will have a bigger focus on up and coming boutique breweries including Willie the Boatman, Pirate Life Brewing., Moo Brew, the ladies from Two Birds, and many more.
Sydney soul, funk and blues outfit The Beans will provide live music, along with acoustic artist Matt Stewart who will perform a solo set. There will also be food, including perfect beer accompaniment in the form of oysters, "Meet the Brewer" sessions and blind tastings on Saturday & Sunday, plus heaps more.
