The iconic Blak Markets will return to Sydney’s spectacular new harbour headland park, Barangaroo Reserve, on Saturday, 11 March for a vibrant celebration of Aboriginal culture and an afternoon of market stalls, food and free entertainment and arts and crafts activities from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.

For the first time, the Blak Markets at Barangaroo will be held on a Saturday afternoon, popping up on the magnificent Stargazer Lawn with beautiful views of the sunset over Sydney Harbour.

The markets will feature bush tucker stalls, arts and crafts activities, a live performance from Indigenous Australian band The Stiff Gins, traditional storytelling by Tuckey Cooley, and Aboriginal dance performances.

More than 20 stallholders will sell bushfoods, arts, crafts, skincare products, and accessories, including Nulla Breeze Candles, Gillawarra Arts Aboriginal Jewellery, John Odgen photography and more.

In addition, Barangaroo’s Aboriginal Visitor Services Guides will run two 90-minute Aboriginal cultural tours of Me-Mel (Goat Island), with the Tribal Warrior vessel Mari Nawi leaving from Towns Place West Wharf, Walsh Bay at 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Bookings essential.
