Eternal Summer is a theatrical re-imagining of contemporary Australian song cycles. Laura King, soprano and Rosie Riebl, pianist will perform repertoire of Australian female composers ranging from contemporary classical, Elena Kats Chernin and Betty Beath, to contemporary pop, Katie Noonan, as well as original compositions by Rosie Riebl.
Their performance will be a musical and visual feast, a dramatic journey through the feminine, the landscape of nature, Magical fairy tales, romance, and the art of story-telling through song. It will leave the audience feeling transported.
Eternal Summer is an intimate performance exploring the art of story-telling and a woman’s voice in contemporary Australia.
