LO-Fi//SCI-Fi

Underground psychedelic club night, The Velvet Cave is coming together with its alluring twin, the experiential music based touring and events company Mosaic for LO-Fi//SCI-Fi, a cosmic synthesis of innovative phonic reverberations, optical fantasies and provocative live performances. 

Two stages at the Chippendale Hotel will play host to a range of bands and artists whose work teeters on the edge of the conscious world. Headliners New War, hailing from Melbourne, will be joined by Sydney-formed and U.K.-based duo Au.Ra, theremin prodigy Miles Brown, experimental synth explorers DCM, punk-inflected minimalist and darkwave artist Buzz Kull, acclaimed electronic wizard Noise in My Head and dark and brooding synth pop outfit Sex Tourists. 

LO-Fi//SCI-Fi offers an exciting platform for some of the freshest and most uncompromising artists in contemporary Australian music to show what makes them so special. New War have curated a special mix specifically for the event, showcasing the inspiration and sound that LO-Fi//SCI-Fi is all about.
