Before the venerated Newtown Social Club closes its doors for good on 23 April, producer/glitch queen Lupa J announces a launch show on Friday 11 April for her as-yet unreleased new single 'Put Me Back Together'.
Kicking off her year with a cacophonous remix of Kalacoma's 'Knives', Lupa J has been busily carving out her niche in the young electronic scene with aplomb. Having shared stages with the likes of Grimes, Sarah Blasko and Tegan & Sara, it's clear that Lupa's innovation and commitment to individualism continue to serve her well. Her 2016 EP 'My Right Name' and its subsequent remix EP, featuring Marcus Whale, Land Systems and more, pricked the ears of Rolling Stone, Purple Sneakers, Acid Stag and many others.
