Bella Hristova makes her Musica Viva debut with Kevin Puts' attractive, exuberant work for solo violin, Arches. Leading European cellist Nicolas Altstaedt combines with Aleksandar Madžar for Britten's powerful and playful Cello Sonata. The concert closes with a musical benediction: Mischa Maisky's interpretation of Bach's D minor solo cello suite.
