On Saturday 29th July, PACT Centre for Emerging Artists will present Salon #2: Skeletons and Self-Portraits – a collection of works showcasing emerging female artists who aim to challenge perceptions about strength and vulnerability.

The second event in their series of immersive mini-festivals, Skeletons and Self-Portraits has been curated by writer and actor Emily Dash and will include film screenings, performances, and live music.

Installations will also be displayed throughout the PACT building including Lorraine MacLarty’s series of portraits depicting the moment when a secret is revealed to an artist; and an interactive installation where artist Louise Kate Anderson invites the audiences to ask any question (no matter how personal) in the hopes of breaking down the barriers around mental health and invisible disabilities.
