Unity Floors

Sydney's quiet achievers, Unity Floors pull through with their new single "Cost Of Living" - a cut from their latest album "Life Admin", released via Popfrenzy Records (4 Stars, Rolling Stone magazine).

The duo describe the song as about "Uncertainty in life and going swimming" - hinting at both the financial and emotional toll of modern living; and their love and appreciation of throwing it all away and never looking back. A rolling drum beat and squealing guitar accompany the band as they chant out the mantra of today, "I don't know I don't know I don't know " only to counter the feeling and turn it about with the catch-call classic line "but not all's lost, we can still go swimming".

A band that many have watched grow and develop over the years since forming in 2012. Unity Floors have shared stages with like minded acts such as Wild Flag, Lou Barlow (Dinosaur Jr.) and Sunny and The Sunsets.

It's honest music for honest people from the dearly regarded indie rock duo.
