How is the year ending for you this time?

What are you bringing to closure or rather what are you bringing to completion happily? And what do you wish to shut the door on?

So often we have these desires of the New Year to be so much better, happier, brighter, more inspirational, fulfilling dreams and more. Does this sound like you?

For years now, I have been very passionate about helping others to complete the year in a conscious way, in a way that focuses on creating better alignment, completing different aspects of our lives with full focus, awareness and consciousness doing so.

It does not work out very well when we try to just push something away or even try to wish it away – something that wasn’t so pleasant, perhaps even painful. We simply hope and do our greatest best that it will not continue or repeat itself.

This may work temporarily. Think about yourself in a swimming pool with a beach ball. How much effort does it take to push that tightly full beach ball under the water and how much effort does it take to keep it down there?

Do you wish to spend your energy in this way?

Why don’t you just let the ball pop up? This is what I am talking about in figurative term here obviously. Emotionally, mentally, energetically, of course more importantly, spiritually, on the level of your heart and soul, to bring even the most painful aspect of our lives to completion creates the ending that we actually desire. When we do it in this way, purposefully, they get diffused and the charge they have carried with them can be dissipated, if not completely distinguished, so to say.

So writing down a list of all the things that you wish to bring to completion is a good thing. Writing down a list of all the things that you wish to stop doing, that you have been doing for whatever reason, some of it has been has been our choice, some of it hasn’t been so much our choice. Even if something feels like it’s not our choice, we can set the intention to discontinue it next year.

What are the things you wish to continue? That’s sort of do their job, not necessarily the most heart inspiring, but may be necessary at this time especially for you to continue. Or perhaps is it possible to modify them somehow to make it more exciting, to make some amendments, adjustments, may be course corrections so that these things that you do need to continue may be more exciting.

“Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success.“ ~ Shiv Khera

New Year’s resolutions are so passe. What are the intentions that you wish to set for yourself for next year? What are the messages you want to implant for next year? What are the seeds you wish to start growing now?

Science uses the word message. East uses the word soul. West uses the word spirit. They are actually one and the same thing. So everything that you think of carries a message. Every lesson you had this year carries a message. Every challenge, every painful relationships situation has a message of some kind.

We can ask, "what has this been here to teach me?" Not about teaching a lesson in a punishing way, but if you think that we are here in this incarnation as spiritual beings come to express our soul’s purpose, desire, intentions, possibilities, skills and more. What is the bigger picture about that situation and scenario? That is what I am talking about.

I invite you to do some reflection as this year heads to an end. In some spiritual traditions and in some Eastern cultures, the year end is very sacred time, very special time. It is not about exerting energy, focus externally out into the world as many of the western traditions and cultures go out to celebrate.

It is a time for internal reflection, self assessment as to what I have just talked about, reflecting about the year. It is a time of witnessing. It is a time of appreciation. It is a time for expressing our gratitude, what has been for all kinds of things – not just the absolutely top best thing. For everything. This is a matter of seeing the bigger picture. This is a matter of opening our hearts further to be extending our scale of appreciation and gratitude for the not most appealing circumstances, situations, but appreciating what we have learnt, how we have grown, how we have changed and more.

“Did I offer peace today?
Did I bring a smile to someone's face?
Did I say words of healing?
Did I let go of my anger and resentment?
Did I forgive? Did I love?
These are the real questions.
I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come. “
~ Henri Nouwen

What are you grateful for? What can you appreciate more of? This is how I am spending the year end count down. It is now only about 3 weeks till the year end and I am deep in this process of reflection and preparing to bring completion and closure so that I can create anew, completely New Year with the new beginning, with a clean slate, where all the clutter has been cleared away and its stagnation completely released, and space created for the wonders of the New Year to be emerging.

Remember the lotus rises from the mud. There is darkness in every aspect of life. There is light in the tiniest speck of darkness as well. All is well.

May you close and complete this year in alignment with your heart and soul and begin anew!

I love my heart and soul.
I love all humanity.
Join hearts and souls together.
Bring love peace and harmony.
Bring love peace and harmony.

With much love, light and blessings for the year ending,

Master Mirva
