Hello Sydney and welcome to the wet weather. Seriously though, there have and will be glorious Spring and Summer days in between the rain. I've already been sunburnt weeding the garden.
Sunny days ahead. So here's our Sydney Scoop take on your Spring Summer fashion essentials. And this season to make of the sunshine we're focusing on resort wear. And after that early spring sunburn, I'm putting my new hat and sun protection in the ring first.

Witchery and KITX 'Towards a Sustainable Future'
The Witchery x KITX collection is a year-in-the-making collection following the success of Witchery’s past collection with fellow Australian label Ellery. Witchery aspired to collaborate with KITX designer Kit Willow due to her pioneering efforts in the world of sustainable fashion in Australia. The collection offers their customers sustainable designer pieces in timeless silhouettes made from sustainably derived materials to ensure long-lasting fashion that will last for years to come.
Throughout the designing process Kit took advantage of materials such as cotton and Hemp, which is an ancient fibre that requires minimal irrigation and little to no pesticides and herbicides to grow, to explore how alternative sustainable fabrics can be used in design. Select pieces in the collection use Corozo Nut Buttons, a natural material that is biodegradable and will return back to the Earth over time. Care was taken to the little details such as featuring undyed cotton care labels and garment hanging tape, zippers made with recycled material, as well as swing tickets made from 100% recycled card.
