Alibi Bar Gets Dirty

Alibi Bar nested on Woolloomooloo's heritage-listed Finger Wharf is your perfect hideout for a guilt-free fix of boozy snacks and drinks.

If 'clean-eating' and 'eating your greens' don't sell themselves to you, maybe 'dirty greens' will. And that is exactly what Alibi Bar, Woolloomooloo is rolling out with its new plant-based (vegan) bar menu... fittingly called 'Dirty Greens'.

Head chef Jordan Brogan and Ovolo’s Creative Culinary Partner, US plant-based chef, restaurateur and global plant-based dining pioneer Matthew Kenney team up to showcase a 100% plant-based menu with all your guilty favorites.

Think Mac'n'Cheese balls that you don't regret later, made with a mix of vegan cheese and cream and Taco and Bao buns with a twist. What looks like pulled pork is specially seasoned jackfruit, also making an appearance in the sweet and sticky Chinese classic Peking D**k.

The sustainability focus continues through to the wine list but ordering a cocktail is a must. Sit back and enjoy the theatrical show as your expert mixologist mixes, stirs and shakes your drink before you. If you're a sucker for liquid nitrogen and flaming drinks, do order the gin-based Cast Away and Gin-centric. Big shout out to Olga who looked after us.

As you enjoy your clean treats and drinks, artworks surround you and whoever has the AUX cable is playing some great chill tunes. One moment you are immersed in conversation with wine in hand and the next you sink into their lounges in silence and admire the artworks. Bonus: no need to shout in your conversations to be heard!

This is the place to escape and hideaway- it is your Alibi.

Alibi Bar’s Dirty Green menu will be available from 4pm till late so your late-night cravings are more than sorted. Dirty - check. Clean - check. The only thing you will regret is not having come here sooner.
