Autumn #knowyourproducer Carriageworks Farmers Market

Carriageworks Farmers Market, the weekly Saturday market providing the freshest seasonal produce from the best growers and producers from around NSW, will present a bumper Seasonal Autumn Market on Saturday 20 March from 8am - 1pm.

The free public program, in partnership with SMEG and delicious, includes a live cooking demonstration with celebrated Nomad Head Chef Jacqui Challinor and producer talks with Alto Olives, exploring autumn and Easter recipes and ingredients, alongside over 60 producers and artisans. Visitors can also participate in the ticketed Sustainable Kitchen Workshop, hosted by Cornersmith which focuses on mushrooms.

AUTUMN MARKET LIVE PROGRAM – SATURDAY 20 MARCH, 8AM – 1PM

● Meet the Producer talk with Westerly Isbaih from Alto Olives, exploring their annual Autumn harvest and olive oil production process. Hosted by Delicious. Food Director Phoebe Wood.

● Live cooking demonstration by Nomad head Chef Jacqui Challinor who will be making a dish inspired by the seasonal produce available at the market. A no-churn olive oil ice cream with raspberries, halva and honeycomb.

● As part of the Sustainable Kitchen Workshop series, Cornersmith will host a 90-minute workshop guiding participants through pickling mushrooms as well as some tips and tricks on how to use up tired mushrooms and leftover stalks. Tickets are available HERE.
