With on premises kitchens, Bourke Street Bakery returns to Potts Point this week, heralding it a flagship store after the prime location Alexandria. Potts Point residents have already been able to get their fix in the Bourke Street Bakery pop-up within Harris Farm Markets, but this is the real deal - baked in the Crick Avenue store.
Of course there's bread, with daily and specialty menus displayed on the copper wall.
Pies, sausage rolls, quiche and other pastries, and flourless chocolate cake (by the slice or as a whole) - all the usual Bourke Street Bakery legends reside.
And now, according to some residents, Bourke Street Bakery returns with also the best coffee in the local area.
Open daily in Crick Avenue from 7am to 4pm, we've heard a whisper that this new Potts Point venue may be considering opening on Friday and Saturday nights.
Bourke Street Bakery is also located at Alexandria, Balmain, Banksmeadow, Barangaroo, Kirrawee, Marrickville, Neutral Bay, Newtown, North Sydney, Parramatta and in founding neighbourhood Surry Hills.
