"Inspiration is for amateurs. I just get to work."

The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) exhibition Chuck Close: Prints, Processes and Collaboration is an exclusive for the Sydney International Art Series and is the largest exhibition of Close's work ever presented in the Southern Hemisphere, featuring over 200 of his works.

One of America's best loved visual artists, Chuck Close is famed for his massive, technically innovative and often hyper-real portrait paintings.

The exhibition runs at the MCA throughout the Sydney summer until 15th March 2015.

And while Sydney is loving Chuck Close, the MCA Café is paying homage to him with a New York Now! pop-up menu to coincide with the exhibition.

The Best Kurobata Ham & Egg Toasted Sandwich, Brickfields Banana Bread with Salted Caramel Butter Cronuts and for mains, Manhattan Mac & Cheese, Reuben's Smoked Brisket Mustard Pickle on Rye, and New York Cheeseburger with American Cheese, Mole Verde & Fries are just some of the New York inspired pop-up menu.

The MCA Café, with undoubtedly one of the best gallery dining locations in Sydney offers patrons and diners a sensory connection to the art exhibition through food, a total and enjoyable immersion in all things New York.
