Disaronno Terrace : Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel

Hot on the heels of a European and North America tour which has taken in some of the worlds most cosmopolitan cities, including Rome, Milan, LA and New York to name a few, DISARONNO Terrace launched their Sydney campaign overnight. A seven week October/November residence at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel might just be Sydney’s best Sunday event in quite some time. It couldn't be a more fitting choice of venue either. The rooftop terrace overlooks a picturesque Sydney harbour making it an ideal location for an afternoon of live music, DJs and a drink to say farewell to the weekend.

The crowd last week for the event launch was a mix of suited-up city workers and those in the know, but expect a distinctly more laid back vibe when the fun begins this Sunday the 19th of October from 3pm.

Worthy of a mention is the weekend city bound ferry service which runs until 9:30pm making this the only place to kick off a Sunday session. Alternatively, the Watsons Bay hotel is open late if you’re too busy enjoying the surroundings to take off early. The free event is open to the public, with guests being welcomed with a drink upon arrival.

Music was provided by two bands and a DJ who player Covers and originals. Duan & Only belted out a groovy rendition of Pharell Williams’ 'Get Lucky’ easing into a set by DJ Minx that encouraged a brave few to get up and test out some dance moves as the sun set on a beautiful spring evening. Guests were invited to try the famous DISARONNO Sour, a spin on a classic cocktail shaken by expert mixologists in a seeming unison. Though, its no surprise, having made some 11,000 of these cocktails over 50 venues world wide this year alone! A selection of craft beer and wines were also available. The Italian theme continued with a generous canapé and olive platter by the bar.

The seven week stay in Sydney sees the likes of Sydney DJs The Faders and The Dollhouse (Leah Simmons own brand of addictive jazz infused disco house) playing everything from hip hop sets to deep house beats, which is sure to draw revellers from all over Sydney.

Ease into summer at DISARONNO Terrace, held from 2 - 6pm on Sunday 19 & 26 October; and Sunday 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 November.

This isn’t an event you want to miss.
