All hail the new Gin: Hendrick's Midsummer Solstice! Sydney Scoop was invited to immerse ourselves in the 'deeply floral world' of Hendrick's newest edition. Their master distiller Ms. Lesley Gracie took inspiration from nature's most exuberant blooms and instilled these flavours in a range of delectable cocktails and spritzes.

We were welcomed with a flower-adorned photo wall and plenty of characters eager to welcome us to a fabulous night of nibbles and of course, the spirit of the hour, gin. Paddo Inn was transformed with an artful projection of floral and bees on its exteriors just for us. And sitting pretty was a London cab, also adorned in Hendricks theme of florals.

Like the fleetingness of Summer or a vacation away, Hendrick's limited edition gin is only around for a limited time. Ms Gracie left us wanting to gather our friends and family and savour the present moment. A moment that was captured beautifully in the gin's floral and crisp flavours.

The longer days call for a drink to suit all day-casions. If you're dreaming of something light and playful to go with your brunch or backyard soiree - Hendrick's Midsummer Solstice has you covered. For more information on how you can make this a reality, click here.

Hendrick's hasn't launched a new gin in 20 years so celebrations were only fitting.... of course with a bang and lots of flowers!

On 5 October and 6 October, Hendrick's virtually took over Surry Hills, Bondi and Paddington and decked the streets in florals decorations. 'Stem for a Spritz' was what they called it, a dedicated 'gin exchange' platform where Sydneysiders could get a taste of Hendrick's new offering. All you needed to do was pick up a stem from one of the lovely Victoriana characters who waltzed around the streets and swap the stem for a delicious (and free) Hendrick's Midsummer Solstice Spritz at the participating venues.

Hendrick's gin encapsulates the vibrancy and playfulness of Summer that only comes once a year. We'll raise our glasses to that and the question is .....will you
