The Governors Shout is the newest CBD open-air bar. Open Thursday and Friday nights with a three hour happy hour from 5pm - 8pm, the bar is nestled in the courtyard of The Museum of Sydney and The Governors Table restaurant directly next to the commemorative metal bust of Governor Arthur Phillip, which was recently laid in honour of Australia’s founding Governor.
It's a great way to help your pocket money last the weekend with a nice selection of premium wine including The Lane ‘Lois’ Blanc de Blanc, La Prova Pinot Grigio, Mt Macleod Pinot Noir, Voyager Cabernet Malbec and Laughing Jack Shiraz all for $6 a glass, not the usual $11-$14. Premium beer and cider including Asahi ($5 not $8), Sydney Cider ($5 not $9) and a bespoke $10 cocktail of the week, starting with The Forgotten Bridge (a delicious blend of Pampero Rum, Passionfruit, Vanilla and Fresh Lime). There’s also a beaut selection of tasty bar food and snacks.
