News is that Harry's Bondi is now opened for dinner. The intimate indoor outdoor casual eatery, located near Bondi Beach has a delicious value offering of six each small and large plates ranging from just $16 for Cauliflower soup with cured salmon through to three large plates at twenty nine bucks. Some of the night time dishes do feature in the all day menu but there's also a range of new contenders such as the seasonal House-made potato gnocchi, pine mushrooms, porcini butter, parmesan ($22) Fettucini pasta, braised steak, prosciutto, baby spinach, sage ($29) and half Holmbrae chicken, sweet corn puree, Serano jamon, chestnuts ($29).

From the smaller plates, we are keen for the marvellous Steak tartare ($17) a lovely mix that's fresh and well seasoned and served with Nasui pear, pinenuts, rocket and lemon crostini. It's a great share dish or starter.

Seared scallops ($19) and light and moist and tempting with the glorious accoutrements of parsnip puree, pomegranate and parsnip crips. Or there is a wonderful embracing Warm cured trout salad, roast baby beetroot, wild rocket horseradish, crème fraiche ($18.50) to satisfy everyone.

Our hot tip from the all day favourites is the definitive Cider cured ocean trout, coddled egg, avocado shaved fennel, zucchnini, ruby grapefruit, dill ($20.50). There are five other savoury breakfast options from Eggs on toast (poached, scrambled or fried) to Quinoa & fetta fritters. And all things sweet, from Coconut chia pudding, blueberry & ricotta hotcake or Strawberry bircher muesli beckon in daylight too.

Of course, you can pop in to Harry's Bondi just to have coffee, or takeaway. What a multitude of ways to now enjoy our favourite Bondi Beach café.
