Since the dawn of mankind, nomads have travelled far and wide, using primitive skills to survive on foraging wild food. Introducing North Sydney’s new source of survival, removing the hard work for all its inhabitants! Owners of renowned Bondi establishments The Corner House and Panama House are launching their newest bar and eatery Hunter Gatherer in April, located on the rooftop of the iconic Greenwood Plaza.

Handcrafted by Michelin trained head chef Paul "Mick" Micklewright, the menu is on constant rotation, using fresh, locally sourced, sustainable ingredients and ethical produce. The menu’s ‘Hunted’ and ‘Gathered’ sections include seasonal dishes such as Bannockburn free range chicken, braised with Sicilian olives, lemon, confit garlic, thyme and verjus; Farmers market steak platter with all the trimmings; Spiced eggplant, haloumi and tomato salad with parsley and chickpeas and Roast bone marrow served with onion jam and toasted baguette. The bar offers a range of craft beers, local spirits, and cocktails, with a focus on organic and biodynamic wines.

"The menu is based on fresh ingredients, working with local farmers who harvest sustainable and ethical produce. To achieve this, the menu rotates daily and includes the best in-season produce we can find at the time. Our customers can easily choose ‘Hunted’ and ‘Gathered’ dishes from these sections of the menu, and know they’ll be getting a fresh, nutritious meal that’s full of natural flavours" says Micklewright.

The interior fuses contemporary Danish design with rustic farmhouse finishes, and an abundance of lush greenery throughout blends the indoors seamlessly with the outdoors and on to the large terrace. The Italian-designed feature wall is a focal point of the venue, illuminating landscape imagery with a psychedelic twist.
