Kitchen Collective Pop-Up

There's nothing better than when old mate comes to town. Sydney loves having visitors. In this instance, news is foodie heaven as old mate is none other than Huxtaburger Chef Daniel Wilson. Now I've known Chef for a while; yet over the years have only had one chance to try his Melbourne gig. For many a Sydney foodie, his reputation also precedes him through national TV coverage as a MasterChef Australia guest.

But that's just the tip of the scoop. Daniel Wilson ascends for three weeks July 27 to August 12 to host a bespoke pop-up restaurant on Crown Street, Jacob’s Creek Kitchen Collective, with wine ambassador Ambar Maddox.

MasterChef fans and home cooks will be able to test their skills against each other and the clock, while enjoying a three-course meal with matching Jacob’s Creek Barossa Signature wines and flight tasting.

Kitchen Collective Pop Up guests will learn from the best, as Chef Daniel Wilson showcases cooking techniques before diners compete against each other and the clock to recreate an entrée and dessert. Each course, including a main developed with (another old mate Chef Aaron Teece from) caterers Studio Neon, are expertly matched to JACOB’S CREEK Barossa Signature wines and are presented as a full wine flight tasting.

“I can’t wait to work with JACOB’S CREEK and put the diners through their paces, and sharing a few of my best tips and tricks at the Kitchen Collective. I’m thrilled that SecondBite will be receiving all proceeds to help those in need” Daniel Wilson, Huxtaburger Chef said.

Tickets are now available via Airbnb Experiences www.airbnb.com/kitchencollective with ALL profits going to MasterChef’s charity of choice SecondBite who provide access to fresh, nutritious food for people in need across Australia by stopping good food from going to waste. SecondBite hopes to feed over 100,000 Australians this winter with proceeds from the pop up.
