Sydney CBD Kittyhawk is back and better than ever and celebrating its revival with a revamped food menu, and cocktail and wine list.
Cocktails here are stylish and superb, crafted with rare elevated skill that is isolated to only our best bars of Sydney. Cocktails with tinctures and reductions, syrups and infusions, the cocktail list explains the layers of flavour, the complexities and textures. This is what cocktail excellence is all about.
For summer enjoy En Plen Air a vanilla oak milk washed Bacardi oro rum base enhanced with orange bitters, garden syrup and tarragon oil. Or for a lighter spritz, Monet's Garden blueberry and mango syrup atop Chandon, Bacardi blanca, Dubonnet, Gomme, mint, lemon juice and soda. Cheers.
Yet although the cocktails, and the wine list mind you, are outstanding - a trip to Kittyhawk Bar is worth it for the food alone, classic French Parisian bistro with a Sydney update.
With the restaurant operated by Merlino & Co (The Lobo, Big Poppa’s, Bartolo) and the kitchen led by Head Chef Leonard Michaud, guests are guaranteed a fun dining experience with premium, but unpretentious, food and beverage.
Is there anything better than eating with your fingers? Dip in, starting with Appellation rock oysters, a must for the festive season. Then dip your chips in the egg, tartare. Steak Tartare and Duck Liver Pate are both Parisian bistro classics. Nothing is better with a delicious cocktail or three. Or for the adventurous, a bump of caviar with ice-cold Grey Goose (AU $28 each). Night sorted.
Kittyhawk bar and restaurant Sydney also has an outstanding wine list. For French flare, try Gentle Folk 'Rainbow Juice rose while supporting Australian winemakers.
Kittyhawk is a multifaceted venue that we adore featuring a high-end cocktail bar and a French inspired menu with a modern Australian twist. With a lively and fun dining experience, Kittyhawk is a venue where guests can enjoy premium food and beverage, live music and events.
