One of the super awesome things about this city Sydney is there is always some many super awesome festivals. One of the biggest and brightest inner city shindigs is back again this year.

Pyrmont Festival is back for seventeen packed days of mouth-watering food, fine wine, and the very best in local arts and culture. The festival is headlined by a two day event at Pirrama Park overlooking Sydney Harbour 28-29 September 11am – 5pm, one of the biggest free outdoor food and wine festivals in Sydney. Last year 20,000 locals came together for the two amazing days of wine tasting, fine foods, and all day music.

“Pyrmont Festival is the pride of Pyrmont,” said Pyrmont Festival Director, Alex Gibbs. “Gather your nearest and dearest, and get ready to soak up the sunrays with gorgeous harbourside views, as you enjoy delectable fare from some of our fantastic local eateries expertly paired with award-winning wine offerings from the Orange region, and pick up some excellent artisanal produce and gourmet delights to take home.”

“Add a fantastic craft beer garden, wonderful live entertainment from the very best local talent, plus plenty to keep the kids busy, and you’ve got the perfect Spring day sorted! ” he said.

“This food and wine festival is an exciting celebration of the close relationship between city and country. We are excited to showcase the Orange region and what it has to offer, and hope festival attendees will further explore the region at the Orange Wine Festival, running 18-27 October,” said Orange360 General Manager Caddie Marshall.

The seventeen day program will also include wine tastings and special dinner events by some of Pyrmont’s most popular restaurants. Stay tuned for the full program to be announced soon.

Last year’s Pyrmont Festival headline event saw 20,000 locals, families, tourists, connoisseurs, and celebrities coming together to enjoy wine tasting, fine foods, art, children’s entertainment, rides and an all-day program of live music with local artists over two amazing days.
