Richmond Good Food Market

19th Jul 2015

Held every Saturday from 7am to 1pm, these markets serve as a cornucopia of Hawkesbury rich produce. Stalls range from selling fresh fruit and vegetables, to cured meats, cheeses and preserves to homemade beauty items and candles. Shoppers will not be disappointed at the variety and quality this small market provides.

Being able to meet and talk with these farmers and artisans is an excellent chance to find out first hand where your food is actually coming from. Purchasing fresh, free-range and chemical free produce helps not only support the local agribusiness but is good for the soul as well.

Fresh food is available for purchase for those wanting to grab a bite to eat. Choose from H & S’s traditional Turkish Gozleme, or a coffee and chia pudding from funky baristas at The Little Blue Bean Coffee Co.

Next week visitors are encouraged to bring their four legged pals along for Canine themed affair- a great family day out for those wanting to escape the city to a piece of farm life without trekking too far away from the city.
