News is the best restaurants in Sydney have been named in the first announcement for TASTE 2015 (Thursday 12th - Sunday 16th March).

Big names like MoVida, Bentley, Biota Dining, Four in Hand and Porteño are all confirmed and are currently working on dishes exclusive to Taste of Sydney!

MoVida might have been in Melbourne first, but Sydney can’t get enough of Chef Frank Camorra’s tapas. And he’s performed the unthinkable – his traditional Spanish tapas was awarded one hat in 2015. Now everyone can try Camorra’s Cecina!

Bentley Restaurant and Bar redefined high-end degustation when they broke into the scene in 2006 and Sydney restaurant power duo, Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Chef of the Year Brent Savage and Gourmet Traveller Sommelier of the Year Nick Hildebrandt have consistently been awarded two hats ever since for their first brain-child. Now there's also more casual offerings: Monopole and Yellow. Each will be serving up delicious delights this year.

Biota Dining (two hats) and 2013 Australian Young Restaurateur of the Year, Chef James Viles return. Whether he’s cooking primitive style – electricity is soooooo 2014 – or sourcing native finger limes from his back yard, Chef Viles is uncompromising in being the locavore terrible. Save yourself the two hour trip to Bowral for this incredible opportunity to try Biota Dining’s food!

FourInHand and 4Fourteen deliver their Nose to Tail attitude when Celebrity Chef Colin Fassnidge and his very-successful restaurants also return to TASTE. Sydney just can’t get enough of this rock-star chef and his kitchen prowess and 4Fourteen’s leading lady, head chef Carla Jones.

Porteño is also back by popular demand; those rockabilly co-chefs Ben & Elvis return with Sydney’s coolest and most coiffured restaurant. They redefined the grill house in Australia when they brought the asado – an open-fire pit – from Argentina. Now Taste of Sydney patrons will have the opportunity to try a range of their exclusive treats set amongst the beauty of Centennial Park.

A fun weekend of fresh air and paper plates and celebrity chef spotting and #hashtags twitter facebook instagram @tasteofsydney and master-classes and YES EATING!
