It is a Sausage Sizzle but not as you know it as Weber join forces with OzHarvest to recreate an Aussie icon, the humble sausage in bread.
Designed in collaboration between Laura Romeo, Weber’s Grill Expert and the Executive Chef at OzHarvest, gourmet lamb sausages with natural seaweed casing features caramelised onion, garlic, worcestershire sauce and fruit chutney flavours, will be served with cheese, onion and a selection of Weber’s secret sauces crafted with ingredients straight from the barbie.
Weber will be selling the limited-edition sausage in-stores across the nation to raise funds to provide 60,000 meals to Aussie families in need on Saturday, 9 November. Select stores will also host Weber Store Masterclass sessions to show guests how to up their barbecue skills and make the most of their leftovers in the lead up to summer.
