Throughout August, Sydney CBD’s premier food and lifestyle precinct Quay Quarter Lanes is bringing you good vibes and even better tunes with the launch of Beats and Bites.
The 5-week musical odyssey will treat Sydneysiders to live performances every Wednesday (3 - 31 August midday - 2pm) from an eclectic line-up of local musicians spanning everything from jazz to R&B and classical music.
What better way to ring in the end of winter than soaking in some tunes and exploring the Lanes’ mouth-watering range of food retailers? The event series is the perfect opportunity to wander through Quay Quarter and grab a bite from Sydney favourites like Humble Bakery, Hinchcliff House, Adora Handmade Chocolates, Marrickville Pork Roll, Side Room, Kobo and Besuto.

Mexican harpist with a massive repertoire of Latin music past and present. Has played with everyone from Angus & Julia Stone to Los Lobos and Jimmy Barnes.

Young and compelling songstress with jazz and R&B stylings who has been inspired by the magic of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
- 31 August - Ali Kush Cabaret
A stellar cast of theatrical musicians whose talented line-up bring classical and jazz tunes to life using clarinet, accordion and percussion.
