With more than 30 years at the top of the food chain, Stefano Manfredi and Julie Manfredi-Hughes once again showcase contemporary Italian Sydney, this time at Balla. The modern mezzanine leads the way with sustainable and seasonal produce, simple yet elegant dishes such as baked chick pea tart, Parma ham and shaved pecorino, potato gnocchi with rabbit and mushroom ragu, and line caught whole snapper with salsa verde and olive salsa. Beyond the food, Balla also offers one of the best Italian wine lists in the city. The eclectic iPad list is updated regularly with the food in mind.
