For a taste of South Indian cuisine (yes, there are differences), you can’t walk past the award-winning restaurant, Malabar in Darlinghurst. They recently added an online ordering system to their website, so you can easily have some of their a la carte menu delivered to your home. The restaurant itself is extremely popular, so on busier nights there may be a (worthwhile) wait - you can also BYO at a very reasonable $3 per person.
