It's not hyperbole to say that Marcus Whale is one of the most interesting and unique voices in Australian electronic music right now. Combining noisy, clattering rhythms and harsh textures with an oddly soulful melodic undercurrent, tracks like "Vapour" and "My Captain" are intriguingly dark enigmas.
Marcus Whale's debut solo album Inland Sea is out June 10, and following the album release he will be performing at Newtown Social Club to celebrate.
