Hold onto your hats for Hendrick's Week of Wonders starting today, 15 March 2021. Whimsy and spectacle will combine to capture the hearts and minds of all Sydneysiders. Start getting excited for a whirlwind of exciting activities for the cloud viewers and gin enthusiasts alike.
What's this all about? Well, to mark the weird unbelievable life changing year just gone, that very refreshing botanical and curious Hendrick's Gin is living up to its reputation and inviting Australians to a unique week-long ode to the peculiar.
Floating across the Sydney skyline this week (exact day determined by weather conditions and a sense of intrigue) is the magnificent Hendricks Gin hot air balloon cavalcade.Departing from Parramatta, this wonderful bouquet of balloons will gracefully sweep our vista to greet Sydney's early risers with colour and style.
Be on the look out for this spectacular event. If you spot the balloons and love your G&T as much as we do at Sydney Scoop you will be a winner by snapping an image of this peculiar affair as it glides across the skies. From Wednesday 17 March to Saturday 20 March, between 4pm to 7pm, peculiar penny farthings will roam the Sydney CBD. Collect a cucumber from curious Victoriana characters roaming the streets and swap for a complimentary Hendrick's G&T. Venues include PS40 and The Barbershop.
Even more exciting is the chance to frolick at Hendrick's Peculiar Gin Garden situated at Campbell Cove, The Rocks from 2pm to 8pm Thursday 18 March to Saturday 20 March. You can delight your senses with complimentary cucumber sandwiches and Hendrick's G&Ts.
