The markets, supported by City of Sydney and operated by Cambridge Markets, will run until Christmas Eve in the pedestrian boulevard of Martin Place in Sydney’s central business district. It will be a mixed market offering all manner of goods from fashion, food, gifts, homewares, candles, festive products and plenty more.

Stallholders attending this market will change daily, but confirmed stalls include 3b Designs, Kikinoki zen products, Nakheel premium bedding, Berliner Bakery donuts, Thicc Cookies, Natas and Co, Cora, Ayre, Alrok and Savannah Estate winery. With a large assortment of stalls rotating through the market, there will be something new every night.

“We have worked very hard to curate a really interesting mix of stalls to bring some truly unique vendors to the city,” Anderson said. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase our micro retailers to people who work and live in the city. Our vendors are thrilled to have the opportunity to reach a new audience right in the middle of Sydney. And we think the market will bring a very festive feel to the city centre after a few difficult years for the CBD.”

The launch of the market will coincide with Martin Place being transformed into a festive wonderland with Martin Place hosting roving performers, carollers and decorations as well as the new markets.

Saturday’s festivities will culminate with the lighting of the Martin Place Christmas tree by Santa and spectacular fireworks from city rooftops.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore said the event would demonstrate that Sydney is ready to celebrate the festive season in style once again.
