Hacienda Bar Pullman Quay

A new vista bar Hacienda launched last night at the Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour and Sydney Scoop was at the party.

If you are lucky, you might be able to score one of the two tables from which you can view the Sydney Harbour Bridge in all its glory. For the rest, you can cosy in to the home-y, 1950s vintage inspired hotel bar with notes of Latin America. With a fully stocked bar of various favorites against a backdrop of flowery plantation, Hacienda creates a botanical oasis in the middle of the city. The two signature cocktails were lovely - Hacienda’s take on the classic Mojito which came bottled and Old Presidente, a rum cocktail with hints of orange curaçao, house spiced raspberry syrup and Angostura bitters. Of course not forgetting the food, award winning Chef Stefan Brademann gave us a taste of unique dishes infused with the tastes of Cuban cuisine. From Scallop ceviche to Jamon croquettes, every dish was an explosion of flavor and spices. The night ended well with some sweets in the form of churros with a variety of dipping sauces like caramel and vanilla cream and as well as a ginger and pumpkin flan that glinted with edible gold.
