Chippendale's iconic live music venue The Lansdowne is pleased to announce the launch of ROCKERS- a bi-weekly event curated by Elliott Hammond of much loved Sydney outfit The Delta Riggs.
Of ROCKERS, Elliott says: "We love the crew at the Landsdowne... they are a ramshackle group with great spirit. We've been hanging around and involved with them since the reopening when we put a local supergroup of sorts ‘The Band’ together - it's such an iconic place. The Rockers nights are a good excuse to have our friends coming in and spinning rad tunes, and it feels good so why not?”
This Saturday will see the Rockers DJ's joining forces with revered Australian musician Dan Sultan as a guest DJ to kick off the afterparty for his Sydney shows.
"The Lansdowne has a mixed history of debauchery, fire, late nights and rock n roll. But one thing has always stayed true- it's commitment to the music community" says Jake Smyth The Lansdowne co-owner.
