Applejack Hospitality reclaimed this iconic venue as The Butler restaurant and heralded the resurgence of Potts Point as a dining precinct. A view from The Terrace expands across The Domain to the city of Sydney, Centrepoint and Australia Square.
Casual elegance, with modern Ibero-American food by Chef Amber Diog. Flavour rules, complemented by little touches of feminine that just hold back on pretty and declare Amber Doig's own style. Each component is cooked to perfection, seasoned just right. Plating is a picture, textures as well as colours contrast, and each dish is balanced across all aspects.
Though cocktails are tucked to the back of the bar list, they're really worth a shot. Margaritas 3 ways, a Kentucky High Tea, and the very quaffable Please and Thank You or ask for any classic cocktail. There is also a lovely selection of Shared Sangria, Champagne and French bubbles, and other wines by the glass or bottle.
